Raymond van Schoor Passes Away

Dan

Haven't seen a thread on this.

van Schoor, a Namibian batsman, collapsed while representing his country against Free State in the CSA sub-provincial domestic one day tournament. Cricinfo reported that he suffered a stroke.

This morning (Australian time), it was announced by the ICC that he had passed away. He was 25 years old.

Very sad news that another international player has left us so young :(

Just one of those freak things that no one saw coming, and that no one could do anything about.

Tragic. Atleast he died doing what he loved, and was unbeaten for the winning side in hisfinal game. RIP.
