The three Mitchells (first name) to have played Test cricket for Australia all played in the same Test match, the 3rd Ashes Test at Edgbaston.

Mitchell here might be my new favourite player profile on Cricinfo. Mitchell | Cricket Players and Officials | ESPN Cricinfo

The only match he ever played was one he got into for being single. His three runs with no overs bowled suggests he wasn't really good enough to play first class cricket, but damned if he wasn't single enough.

Has no likes, sadly. Will have to rectify that when I get home.

He played alongside William Lillywhite, James Cobbet, Edward Wenman, William Ward and James Broadbridge! Wouldn't mind being single for that TBH.

Also rather upset there is neither a Grant or a Phil in there, however I do believe the Mitchell le Tissier is none other than Southampton legend Matt's son. So he wins by default
