Mahmood on the other hand may have burst onto the scene a bit, but he is horrible medium pacey.. do England want a Mark Ealham bowlalike opening the bowling for them in test matches?
There is absolutely nothing wrong with medium-fast if you've got the accuracy and the movement. Look at Chaminda. And indeed Pollock.
Anyway, from what everyone keeps going on, it seems Mahmood might be a 90mph-merchant. I'll not make any judgement until I see a Sky game in which he's playing with a speedgun.

Erm.... isn't he up in the faster bowlers league. I have seen him bowl around 145 kmph
oh he definately has quite some pace to him....there has been talk of Mahmood around the Lancashire scene for a bit about his possible international credentials...i would like to see him get some more experience with Lancs before he gets anywhere near the England set up though...maybe in 2005

Nadeem Mailk should have been on the tour
Not at all to do with just having signed for Worcester, I trust?

Anyone fancy working out Kadeer's tour average(s)? Won't take long!

Yes, fair enough.

But still, that Career record is apalling, and makes one wonder how he's even avoided the sack, yet alone made the Academy!
