    Come to think of it, the finest session that nobody watched was probably the similar event in Cardiff 2011, when Sri Lanka got bowled out and England did actually win the game.

    Both games were nailed on draws until after tea on day 5 and had pretty similar criticisms leveled at the conditions.

    The main difference, of course, was that one of these games was played at a new Test ground inexplicably built in an only recently habitable wasteland in the middle of nowhere, and the other one was played in Abu Dhabi
