Best Test Centuries in England since 2000

GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
Well, everyone else is doing it. And we all know a century in England is worth double anywhere else.

NB - title clearly states England so any attempt to mention innings played at Cardiff will be infracted

Ponting at Old Trafford, Trott v Pakistan at Lords, KP's double against India, his Headingly one v SA, some of Dravid's tons, Amla's 300 some of the ones that immediately spring to mind.

Dravid carrying his bat at the Oval.

Actually his Trent Bridge ton that series was better, come to think of it. Would have put India into the driving seat to square the series until Broad suddenly went into God Mode with the 2nd new ball.

Strauss' ton at the Oval in 2005 is one of the most criminally under-rated innings this century. Was absolutely vital.

Can think of about 4 for Graeme Smith

2 double hundreds in his first series as a young test captain Lord's & Edgsbaston
Then the 150 on that turning pitch at Edgbaston to seal the series win in 2008 with all the drama with the side screen. THE BEST ONE.
Graeme Smith's 100 in his 100th test match at the Oval

Trott on debut. Not the best but given the game and significance was pretty bloody impressive.

Alec Stewart scoring a ton in his 100th test on the Queen Mothers 100th birthday takes some topping.
