In all seriousness actually I'll admit the boundaries were woeful, wasn't even much in the way of equipment jammed behind them. Tough days being a bowler.

ABdV one of the only batsmen who's cheered by Indian crowds as he shreds apart our bowling :)

Whatever it takes!!!
Lara got good reactions but he never played here enough. Think there was a time when Jayasuriya got great reactions in India and so did Aravinda. Andy Flower's solo efforts were well appreciated by those crowds too. But yeah, you can add all of them together and it wont be the same as the reaction AB got today. He is the real inhuman I think. :)

Time to admit RSA are most Indian cricket fans' #2 side now? The media cant stop gushing about them, our own players seem a lot more friendly with them and the crowds are treating them well (Cuttack being the exception)... Guess this is an offshoot of the IPL.

Both him and rabada played during the bangla series, and rabada was head and shoulders above him, also rabada has been in good form lately, and hasnt really done anything wrong, so it would be unfair to drop him

Nah. Just the first match. Once BD adapted to his pace he wasn't that much more threatening.

Abbot has more tools and more experience. I'd expect him to be do better in the long run on the subcontinent.

It must suck to be hashim amla, the bloke has to bat, generally when the conditions and pitch are most bowler friendly and will often lay a good solid foundation, but then ab comes in and scores a 70 ball 100 and everyone forgets about hash's innings. Also rilee should replace miller, rilee can play the finishing role like miller, but unlike miller rilee has less technical flaws, is more versatile and can also rebuild the innings after a poor start

No one can play the finisher role like Miller. He's arguably one of the most dangerous end-of-innings batsmen in the world.

But if they're batting him at 5 then I don't see the point. Surely the lineup should go JP-Behardien-Miller? Or Miller-Behardien.
