The Battlers Prince
International Vice-Captain
I've been trying to do this, but the West Indies quicks of the 70/80's don't deserve to be broken apart. The greatest TEAM of bowlers ever.
ouch.Is that a crime?

I thought there was an implicit rule you couldn't double people up. No doubt I was wrong about that rule. For me he is he 2nd best batsman. Are all the blokes not picking Sobers in the all-rounders category doing so because 1) they've already picked him in their top 10 batsmen, or 2) they genuinely don't think he's one of the three greatest all-round cricketers in the game's history?
If 1), that's understandable though there doesn't seem to be any rule against picking blokes in more than one category. If 2), behave yourselves.
Finally you come around to appreciating Barry Richards.10 Batsmen

Lara at no. 2 explains it. During the 90s there was a constant Tendulkar vs Lara debate among Indian fans. Obviously around 90-95% of them liked Tendulkar more; but there were a small few (remaining 5-10%) who were in the Lara camp. The fact that they were always up against the majority opinion (and also that many real-life Tendulkar-fans are pure idiots tbh - I know many of them), some among those 5-10% turned anti-Tendulkar.Someone with India as their location leaves Tendulkar out of a top ten batsmen list.
