Interview With A Legend

On a recent visit to England for the Lord's Test Barry Richards took time out of his schedule to talk to us, and has also made available a couple of copies of his autobiography to CW visitors

Great interview - well done. As others have said, he comes over as being a very humble man, whilst also possessing a very sharp insight into the game and so many of the players he has seen.

Interesting to read about Pollock bowling beamers at Boycott, as I'd previously read about him bowling one at Basil D'Oliveira in a festival game.

It's in the biography of Bob Barber that was recently published - although it was Bob and not Boycs who took him to task about it

Woah. Can't imagine what it must be like to speak with someone of such calibre.

Richards is one lucky guy..
