I am in a huge dilemma. I have 851 balance to purchase an opening bowling partner for Steyn. And there are 8 genuinely good bowlers in contention!

Have zeroed in between a bowling all-rounder from a famous South African family, and a current day English swingman.

Advise me guys :( Who will be better to complete this bowling attack? Steyn - *** - Hazlewood - Qadir - Moeen

Steyn and 'current day English swingman' should be mouthwatering. Throwing in Hazlewood in between will be n8mare. But good guy from famous SA family will also be a good choice as well.

I'll go with AZH's advice to complete my team.

1. Farokh Engineer+ (619)
2. Barry Richards (586)
3. Ricky Ponting (942)
4. Frank Worrell* (828)
5. Steve Waugh (895)
6. Ajinkya Rahane (666)
7. Moeen Ali [5] (458)
8. Abdul Qadir [4] (710)
9. Josh Hazlewood [3] (506)
10. Dale Steyn [1] (909)
11. James Anderson [2] (847)

Balance 9

I reckon this has been at least close to my best game in any draft so far. Thanks watson for organizing this - was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. HB called me the Rohit Sharma of drafts before this started. I now know how Rohit felt after scoring one of those ODI double tons. ;)

I would say you are the Shikhar Dhawan of drafts now after that team... ;)

Excellent team.. But I still maintain.. if you are the Rohit of drafts, you will come back to norm in overseas conditions very soon.. :p

I'll round it off with the stylish Joe Hardstaff jr. (735)

2. Sunil Gavaskar
3. Joe Hardstaff jr.
4. Graeme Pollock
5. AB de Villiers
6. Aubrey Faulkner[4]
7. Frank Woolley [5]
8. Learie Constantine [3]
9. Herbert Strudwick [+]
10. Jack Cowie [1]

Maybe a bit of weakness in spin department but I think Aubrey Faulkner and Frank Woolley will form a good spin duo

Ambrose will throw the cricket ball targetting your sensitive area if you give Cowie the first over ahead of him.

The normal awards that everyone else has
Ian Healy to finish my team. Best wicketkeeper I've seen live (which we'll need for MacGill), very handy batsman, and outstanding commentator post playing career.

All in all, very happy with this team. Highly potent and complimentary pace attack, with Pollock able to take the containing role while striking regularly, and Lindwall and Roberts providing highly skilled strike power. MacGill is a great spinner who can attack as he likes with the control of the others to back him. D'Oliveira is able to provide some steady and very economical medium pace, and was a good enough bowler to pick up a wicket per test. My batting is pure orgasm all the way down to 6, all stylish strokeplayers who were good in all conditions. And it's hard to see us getting bowled out cheaply with Healy, Pollock and Lindwall at 7,8 and 9. Bargain buys were Jackson, D'Oliveira and Love; and MacGill is probably cheap at how good he was.

Sid Barnes (708)
Rohan Kanhai (875) *
Peter May (941)
Basil D’Oliveira (628) (5)

Ray Lindwall (897) (1)
Andy Roberts (891) (2)

Thanks for organizing this Watson, you're the master at keeping things ticking over, and it was a really fun and challenging idea for a draft.
