Harrison (CEO) was in Dublin on a jolly and had to put down his pint to tell the players that the coach had been sacked during a rain delayThe ECB are such a ****ing disgrace though. Apparently they'd planned that he would be sacked by Tuesday, but neither him nor any players knew as he travelled from Barbados to Dublin and did the ODI. Also heard they hadn't planned to announce it this early but had to because of the leak.
I have a feeling he withdrew because they gave him the nodd that it was going to be Strauss.Harrison (CEO) was in Dublin on a jolly and had to put down his pint to tell the players that the coach had been sacked during a rain delay
Furthermore, Vaughan withdrew his interest in the Director of Cricket role because he had been told a week before that Moores was being retained
Never going to happen, loves sound of his own voice too much.love that Graves isnt in the job yet and we're calling for him to resign
i'll settle for him shutting up
That's sound like more than enough to sell him to the ECB.Why is Langer in contention? Bloke was a joke in his role with Australia and he's a creepy weirdo.
To be fair he has turned WA around in pretty quick time. Why is Langer in contention? Bloke was a joke in his role with Australia and he's a creepy weirdo.
Was good as Richard in Lost tooTo be fair he has turned WA around in pretty quick time.
Captaining Middlesex who Strauss played for is another reason he is getting linked as well. Why is Langer in contention? Bloke was a joke in his role with Australia and he's a creepy weirdo.
Just noticed that...Was good as Richard in Lost too
Umm, what?Graves will start his role with the ECB on Thursday and there has been speculation that he is keen to appoint Yorkshire's title-winning coach Jason Gillespie to replace Moores.
But Graves said the decision was not his to make. "It is Andrew Strauss who takes that call as he builds his team around him," Graves told The Times.
