    Pakistan

Which team will miss out on Champs trophy? One out of WI, Bang and Pak won't be there.

    Quotes from cricinfo article:

The latest ICC rankings show an intriguing battle developing for qualification for the 2017 Champions Trophy. The top seven sides in the world, plus hosts England, will compete at the next 50-overs tournament and the cut-off date for qualification is September 30, 2015.

West Indies, who are ranked seventh, currently have no ODIs scheduled between now and September 30, leaving them potentially vulnerable to Pakistan, who have eight matches to come - three at home to Zimbabwe and five in Sri Lanka each at home, and Bangladesh have three against India and South Africa.

    ICC ODI Rankings
    1. Australia 129pts
    2. India 117
    3. New Zealand 116
    4. South Africa 112
    5. Sri Lanka 106
    6. England 94
    7. West Indies 88
    8. Bangladesh 88
    9. Pakistan 87

    10. Ireland 50
    11. Zimbabwe 45
    12. Afghanistan 41

Probably Bangladesh unless Pakistan get upset by Zimbabwe.

West Indies lucking out I think.

    Explain your logic.

Bangladesh will likely drop points after losing to India and South Africa. Pakistan will stand to gain points as long as they don't get Banglawashed by Sri Lanka.

After beating Zimbabwe 3-0 Pakistan will be somewhere around 88-89. Winning 2 games or more will keep them about that or higher. Winning 1 game should probably see them at 87-88.

I think it's likely Bangladesh will win 0 or maybe 1 of those games, which will see them drop quite a few points.

Pakistan missing out will hit the revenues surely? Even without a potential clash against india? Just a pipe dream but perhaps if pakistan is ranked 9, the icc will include teams ranked 9 and 10, potentially allowing ireland to participate

Of course its more than likely that pakistan will finish inside the top 8 anyway, and that would end all speculation

    Good analysis.

Would be great if BD made it tho.

They are better than WI and Pak at the moment imo. Possibly England too. Just a bad schedule for them.

No way. We demolished SL 4-0 recently, no way Bangladesh stand a chance.

Probably BD will miss out. Still have an outside chance though for qualification as all the games are scheduled @ home

Bangladesh the more deserving team to qualify for the Champions Trophy.
And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

Bangladesh should really schedule another home series against New Zealand for some vital points.
