Karthik has batted well against good attacks this season. He seems to have improved tremendously as a batsman. Was a key member of the Tamil Nadu ranji side as a batsman, a side which had such strong batsmen as Vijay, Baba Aparajith among others. I doubt they will give the boot to Saha for at least 1 series.
Dinesh Karthik? I'd be surprised if he hasn't signed off on his national aspirations after dipping his pen in a team-mate's ink pot, so to speak

'You will look very silly said Mr Salteena with a dry laugh.
Well so will you said Ethel in a snappy tone and she ran out of the room with a very superier run throwing out her legs behind and her arms swinging in rithum.
Well said the owner of the house she has a most idiotick run.'

Googled the story. Vijay and Karthik have played the Ranji semis and finals together since then, ftr. It sure would be uncomfortable sharing the dressing room together though!

Wicketkeeper - I don't get Saha. He's a good T20 batsman, but is he proven in the longer form of the game? And if we wanted a good T20 wicketkeeper batsman, why not Sanju Samson? Great to give him a go and start bedding him in.

Coaches - While Dravid may be the 'safer' and more politically correct choice than Ganguly, that has no bearings on how they would fare as coaches. Ganguly could perhaps inspire the team to be more aggressive on overseas Test tours, but again, that's just guesswork. Both would be good, but I wouldn't mind a foreign coach like Fleming or Hussey.

Anyway, we will mostly be asleep after the IPL. May and June hold exciting tours to Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.

We are not touring Bangladesh in May-June. It is going to be ****ing hot. Bangladesh is a humid place like Bengal as well.

Bangers are expecting 3 ODIs. Obviously we'll send a team captained by Stuart Terrence Roger Binny.

    Flawed logic.
The only reason he doesn't get to keep when he plays in the same side as MSD is that MSD doesn't want to field.
He has a reputation of being a very good glovesman, and looked pretty good in Aus.

He's also more than just a T20 batsman as someone insinuated - he has a very respectable Ranji record.
