It’s equal for all players? Do they have separate contracts with their states?

Match Fee is outside of any retainer fee you get from contracts. And very few state teams have contracts.

Also, I am surprised to see that he single-handedly helped West Zone chase down the highest total in a 4th innings in FC games(in the Duleep Trophy). For those who are from outside India, Duleep Trophy is way more competitive than Ranji Trophy games, it comprises of 3-5 teams(the number has changed over time) featuring the best performers in Ranji Trophy from each zone.
