India tour of Bangladesh in doubt

I so want the official reason for the cancellation to be "they can't take 20 wickets".

said that if BCCI cancelled the tour of Bangladesh, Kamal will surely get his government to take up the issue with Delhi.

The Modi government surely will not like to cancel the cricket tour for fear of adverse impact on bilateral relations at a time when they are at their best.

Yeah, sure, the Modi government obviously has this as a priority issue for them. Kamal should have known better than to rub the BCCI egomaniacs the wrong way.

Why would the BCCI cancel the tour?

Hope they sue them tbh. Not that it matters, but whatever.

Bangladesh' overall reaction after the quarter-final loss has been utterly immature and piss-poor at all levels TBH - and it doesn't seem to stop.

It will be no great loss if the tour is cancelled. The reality is that Bangladesh are still a minnow and don't really deserve the privilege of playing a top tier side. They should be battling it out with the likes of Panama & Burkina Faso for a glazed leg of ham and a round of beers instead of the cash cow that an Indian series would be.

Bengal can't send full strength team tbh. Players have IPL, domestic and Kolkata League commitments.

To save cost and time, Bangladesh can play against West Bengal. Adjacent states and all that..

I agree. Shami, Saha, Tiwari and Dinda will have good personal performances though; especially the first 3.
