International Coach
There's a couple of things he needs to work on to succeed in test imo. Firstly, he needs to sort out his seam release with the older ball. He's got good presentation so he swings it when the ball is new, but the ball comes out on a pretty big slant so he doesn't actually consistently land the ball on the seam with his current release. This is what gives everyone the oft repeated "bowls along the pitch" impression. Secondly there's his issues with half volleys and full tosses which are just a matter of training and experience.

I sometimes wonder if the reason why he gives the impression of bowling a lot of floaters despite being in the 140-150 range is because the height of his release creates a touch more travel distance.
