There are a few names to conjure with for anyone who wants to nominate the finest Australian bowler of all time, and that of the subject of Martin's latest feature is certainly one of them

Another good article thank you.

One thing that I have never seen mentioned is Grimmett's relationship with Bradman in Shield cricket.

Much has been made of Bradman being responsible for Grimmett not going to England in 1938 but Grimmet played under Bradman for SA for several years prior to that.

What was their relationship like ?
Grimmett also played under Bradman in the seasons afterwards.

Any ideas ?

One of my favourite players, love seeing an article about him. Would have been amazing to see Grimmett and O'Reilly bowling in tandem.
