Canada doing the opposite of HK - won their first 3, lost their next 3, and lost a spot in the KO stages in the process.

Awesome tournament

Fixers and expats of UAE and HK make it to playoffs. ICC should keep an eye on both of these teams for the main tournament. Both of the teams can't win a single match at that tournament for sure so might relegate themselves to fixing

lol?

There's only one player born in Canada in the entire lineup ffs. They're even more "expatty" than the teams you keep bagging. At least be consistent in your trolling.
At least they have Canadian nationality. I know about Abraash, Nitish, Nikhil etc all are products of age-group cricket. UAE doesn't even have a single player who holds Emirati nationality. Same about Oman

Because it literally isn't possible to earn Emirati or Omani nationality unless you have local blood in you. Even if you are born and raised there.

Then have at least players from your u19 setup. Most of their players are just Pakistani domestic rejects who play cricket for fun and money (and fixing).

I mean for the World Cup

Have to beat the loser of UAE v Netherlands to make it. I'm sure they'd much rather face the loser of Namibia v Oman

This is true. Different laws exist for fully-fledged Emiratis too. Their government looks after them quite a bit.

Why the hell are UAE able to make replacements for players fixing and going AWOL. The Technical Committee for this tournament should be taken to task.
