Ehsan is actually a really prolific run scorer in domestic cricket, but he doesn't open the batting here. He does his best work at 4/5. So quite a strange move.

Looks like a reasonable Lbw - unless he hit it. Doesn't look to have pitched outside leg, hits the pads middle & leg.

Absolutely possible he edged it - just can't tell from the quality of the video though.

Reactions and commentary suggest there was an audible inside edge but we can't really tell without stump mics

Dan Pascoe's stats in domestic HK cricket, especially in 2020-21 when he won HK Cricketer of The Year, have played a big role in his selection. It helps that this was also Trent Johnston's first full year of following domestic club cricket in HK, and that he bowled pretty well in the All Stars Series, which were essentially trial games to get into the National squad.

He also has a good degree of experience and pedigree from playing cricket in England and Australia that the other younger spinners in our setup don't. Fielded fantastically last night, is in great shape for a man his age. Just a bit rusty with the ball. Missed some of this season due to an injury, and then lack of cricket through all the Covid lockdowns, so probably just needs some overs under the belt to find his rhythm again.

But yea, at his age if he doesn't find his rhythm soon then his first stint with the National team could well be his last.

Much better start with the ball by HK today. Two wickets in the powerplay. Adit Gorawara has joined the squad, Vikas Sharma left out. Suggests that Ghazanfar might get a bowl today! Would be odd if he played as a specialist number 11 two games in row...

Afghanistan have been playing Zimbabwe in an ODI series and it go no mention here lol

Just shows how much international cricket is going on atm. Afghanistan thumping Zimbabwe btw, climbing up the ODI Super League quite nicely.

Why did the Namibia vs. HK matches not have List A status?

Jersey vs. Uganda on the other hand does. Decent games for Nick Greenwood and Dominic Blampied (who's building up a decent record overall).

More than 100 countries have t20 status. But only few have odi status.
