Yeah, the international players actually agreed that they needed to accept a pay cut in order to professionalise domestic cricket. They just didn't agree to the size of that cut.

This point would fly if India didn't cut short their tour to South Africa last year. Sure not mid-series but still, they would have ****ed up SA's commercial arrangements with sponsors, media partners etc.

A couple of days back there was this headline that ICC will not let the Windies go away. I would sure like to hear their plan.

Windows won't pay for the simple reason that they can't pay.

Only possible solution is if they agree to share part of home revenues from a tour to Windies by the BCCI imo.
