Not converting starts, hampered by that elbow injury, but also just not really playing enough to get into any rhythm. He's not actually batting badly, he gets set just as often, but he's not cashing in once he gets to 70-odd.

yeah around about when he came back from the concussion (and what a different time!) because he was regularly hitting half trackers to leg gully there was a meme around him not being able to play the short ball, but wagner is inevitable really, it's just what spark said

Labuschagne isn't anywhere near IMO. Khawaja, Bairstow, Babar are the clear standouts.
