...not because I rate him higher than the other bowler in contention, but because I believe his partnership with McGrath will be a particularly good one.

Really wanted Mikey.

And he is better than the other bowlers left IMHO.

Was super confused between 2-3 legendary all-rounders and a big fast bowler who didnt open the bowling that much..

Finally I will go ahead with someone who was lethal and would make a good pair with Trueman. Ray Lindwall!

Going for Joel Garner - No One Hit Joel.

It would be a pleasure to have him as my second opening bowler. Hadlee-Garner is an opening combo to the 80s what McGrath-Ambrose would have been for the 90s :)

I have decided to give no free rounds at all. All rounds will have conditions. I think this is the best way to ensure all eleven XIs are of ATG quality. For such serious cricket freaks as you all, it is always more fun to work with conditions.

These 6 + 1 more were my sort listed players for this round. Pretty amazing how people @ CW thinks and picks their players nearly in same pattern.

Was anyone else considering Miller as opening bowler or I'm the only one got tempted to get an all rounder?

He was my initial choice, but then I had to pick the fast bowler to open the bowling with Trueman so ;) I was confused between him and Holding.
