He hit over 140 at his quickest. He was faster then either philander & Pollock.

Could definitely still hit 140-145 towards the end in short bursts. In 2011 1st Test at Centurion (Dec 15-17) Fernando pinged him on the helmet. When it was Fernando's turn to bat he was subjected to an over of 140-144kph short-pitched thank you notes

Dale's speed has really surprised me. I never doubted that he would retain his skill, but he has bowled with some serious wheels. Maybe he really is feeling 23 again.
