Australian squad's been announced.

Australia squad Aaron Finch, Shane Watson, Michael Clarke (capt), George Bailey, Steven Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Brad Haddin (wk), Mitchell Marsh, James Faulkner, Mitchell Johnson, Ben Cutting, Mitchell Starc, Kane Richardson, Nathan Lyon.
What's Phil Hughes got to do to get a game, eh?

SA squad:
Hashim Amla (captain), AB de Villiers, Kyle Abbott, Quinton de Kock, JP Duminy, Faf du Plessis, Dean Elgar, Imran Tahir, Morne Morkel, Wayne Parnell, Alviro Petersen, Vernon Philander, Dane Piedt, Dale Steyn, Stiaan van Zyl

I hoped some young guns will play in ZIM. They could at least get some younger talented guy instead of Tahir on the list.

sorry bud no room to fit him in, given the 5 batting all-rounders (Watson, Maxwell, Marsh, Faulkner, Cutting) and bowling all-rounder (Arun Finch)

SA play 3 ODIs vs Zimbabwe, and then again take part in this competition less than 4 days after the 3rd ODI. That is stupid!

Why not just have this series, and covert those 3 ODIs into a test, or better yet, not play those 3 ODIs...

Is this series being broadcast on Fox Sports? I assume not considering how unprofitable it would be to show something like this at the back end of AFL/NRL seasons.

Looking forward to the Aus vs SA matches.. Possibly a dress rehearsal of the WC final next year. Is this the time SA finally drops the choker tag? They definitely have the players to do it..

Suspect they are trying to fine-tune their combinations with the WC in mind, and lets not forget Tahir has been a good LO bowler in recent months

If Fox Sports can't find some channel to stick this on in the middle of the night then they want shooting tbh.

just thinking, Phil Hughes should probably be named as the back-up keeper in Team Australia's 15 man WC squad right?

So what's the rule with the WC? Seeing as it's in Australia, if Haddin breaks his hip, can we just draft in a replacement immediately?

Not a big fan of intentionally using a not real keeper if we don't have to.
