Dhawan's first class by season as per C Archive. Definite pattern here. Can be divided into 3 phases.

Phase 1 - Was mediocre the first few years averaging in the early 40s. This was when Dhawan was a young fellow still learning the ropes at the FC level.
Phase 2 - Formed his footing in FC cricket and made runs, averages over 50. Breaks into the test side.
Phase 3 - Once he has broken into the test team, has generally struggled with his averages. His longer form play has been between millions of ODIs and T20s, so I doubt he has actually had a chance to work on his long form game a lot too. He is one player who could use a stint at county cricket, even if a short one.

And his last for Yorkshire for the season. We'll see him pound Bangladesh next month, but he needs to be more consistent if he wants to be Dravid Mk II.

Nice. I am sure the experience would have done him a world of good.
