Riggins have you got yourself an XI? Please post it so we can start the voting...

Edit - Actually, who's going to bowl in your team? Great batting lineup though. I put your boi Marto at 4..

1 Mark Taylor (c)
2 WG Grace
3 Archie Jackson
4 Damian Martyn
5 Jacques Kallis
6 AB de Villiers
7 Steve Smith
8 Eknath Solkar
9 Dipak Patel
10 Khokhan Sen+
11 Njabulo Ncube

I guess Ncube and Kallis will open the bowling with Grace and Martyn first change. Patel, Smith and Solkar to offer different variety of spin. You'll need the tactical genius of Taylor to draw matches..
Maybe he's just dealing with the fact that he's **** away from home.

One of the questions which I'm glad I asked was name someone who played in the countries last Test match. It just looks good seeing every team with a current player listed among legends/duds from the past.

We've had 5 voters so far. Would be good if adub, Monk, Morgie, Pothas, Riggins, Spikey and Valer could vote.

Pothas finished in 4th with 8 points and was voted the best twice, while ONIY had 1 first place, Monk was consistent but didn't ever get voted the best team while morgie received 7 out of 10 places (you could say 7/9 since he couldn't vote for himself).

Congrats morgie and thanks everyone for taking part :)

Morgie finally producing the goods after coming close for a while. Thought I was well placed coming into the last few picks but morgiebs last four picks really took the game away

Getting Malcolm Marshall when Roberts and one of the other Windies 80s quicks (Garner maybe) were sheeped was great for Morgie. I definitely think his Graeme Pollock was a smart pick. In saying that, it just takes one other person to think the same, the beauty of the format I guess.

Next time around, I'm going to make the sheep a bit better overall. They definitely wont be as good as the main picks, but the punishment of getting a sheep wont be as massive a disaster. Take for example questions the odd number of tests questions; I could have chosen someone like a Bruce Laird or Romesh Kaluwitharana. You know respectable Test Cricketers so voters don't just dismiss the teams that have a few sheep.

FTR I'd probably have picked ONIY ahead of Pothas if I remembered the voting order correctly.
