Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Bedi's control of the ball trajectory and speeds was famed. It has always seemed incredible to me that the most versatile and talented spin bowling attack ever assembled in test history was not more successful away from the sub-continent. It was like having O'Reilly, Verity and Laker together. India's batting let them down too badly perhaps for them to win anything significant abroad.

To be fair they did win in England and West Indies in 70/71, and then didn't play another away series until 1974!
