USYD selectors must have thought him to be the third best opener in the squad after Carters and Henry. Despite the Mailman being better than them both, and Henry batting at 3 for NSW when he played this year.

Which would be about right for anything related to USYD. They're pretty bloody dense for a bunch of academics.
