Players are paid by a sporting body and then give "exclusive" interviews to the website of the sporting body that pays them. Wow wee.

The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.
I'm a bit surprised that Nevill has made the ODI team. I could understand the 4 dayers, but don't think he justifies a spot in any of the shorter formats. I also agree with Morgie that Richardson shouldn't be in the 4-day stuff. Overall, good squads though.
Tom Trifiitt returns to Tassie, should feature in the Futures team maybe even the Hurricanes, handy replacement if Paine falls over.
CRICKET SETS ITS SIGHTS ON THE SUBURBS
CANADA Bay will be showcased to the rest of the country when domestic and international cricket matches are held at Drummoyne Oval this summer.
Cricket Australia approached Canada Bay Council to hold six first class games at the oval next summer.
Five national One Day Cup games will be held at Drummoyne, along with an international England vs India warm-up game on January 13 for the One Day Cricket World Cup.
The domestic cricket matches will be televised live, meaning the oval and the area will be seen by a huge audience, Canada Bay Council general manager Gary Sawyer said.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It will allow us to showcase Drummoyne Oval and Canada Bay,” he said.
The council had invested millions in the facility and this showed it was paying off, Mr Sawyer said.
There will be two Friday day-night matches and one Sunday day-nighter, so more of the community will be able to attend.
The oval is also anticipated to be used as a training venue for teams scheduled to play their World Cup games in Sydney.
The Sydney Cricket Ground Trust has agreed to cover the costs of hosting the events.
Canada Bay mayor Angelo Tsirekas said Drummoyne Oval was recognised as one of the best suburban cricket ovals in Sydney.
“This is a great coup for our city as the five National One Day Cup matches will be televised on the Nine Network, which will provide a fantastic opportunity to promote Canada Bay. The games will also provide a spectacular showcase of elite cricket in our own backyard,” Cr Tsirekas said.
as long as they're off the field when the drummoyne dirty reds start pre season i'll allow it

In the meantime, some of the upcoming matches featuring Australia A, India A, South Africa A and a team of Australia’s best emerging talent in the National Performance Squad will be streamed live on cricket.com.au.
