Lefties XI:

Bill Lawry
Frank Worrell
Brian Lara
Greame Pollock
Allan Border
Garry Sobers
Adam Gilchrist
Richard Hadlee
Wasim Akram
Curtly Ambrose
Bill O'Reilly

Looks good enough to compete hard against the right handed XI.

Don't think Worrell, O'Reilly, Hadlee and Ambrose should count for the lefties as their main bowstring was with their right hand. With that in mind:

1. Hayden
2. Smith
3. Lara
4. Pollock
5. Border
6. Sobers
7. Gilchrist
8. Wasim
9. Johnson
10. Davidson
11. Verity

If I were to include others then the latter three would probably come in for the non-Wasim bowlers and Worrell would possibly come in for one of the openers (don't feel comfortable with manufacturing an opener for the purposes of this, but others are doing it and it's kinda unfortunate that the best seven batsman who were left-handed in some way were middle-order bats)

Righties would probably be (discounting Bradman):

1. Hobbs
2. Hutton
3. Richards
4. Tendulkar
5. Hammond
6. Miller
7. Knott
8. Imran
9. Marshall
10. Warne
11. Muralitharan

Could bring in Kallis or Headley for Miller if we needed better batting depth. If the latter occurs, bring in McGrath or Barnes for Warne/Murali.

Create another thread ****. This thread allows Hadlee and Ambrose to play for lefties XI.

Don't think Wasim, Davidson, Reid/Johnson and Verity are capable of twice bowling out the righties for a cheaper score than what Imran, Marshall, McGrath and Murali get the lefties out for?

I think it can be consistently done, especially if Johnson comes in the redux 2014 model.

Stupid of OP to include Amby, Hadlee, Worrell, O'Reilly etc in the lefties XI.

Maybe once every ten games or so. It's clearly an inferior attack.
