There are a few floating around, particularly those from England. Am thinking Peter Miller (@TheCricketGeek), Freddie Wilde (@fwildecricket), etc.

Are these guys just simply people like ourselves who bothered to get themselves more organised and blog properly? Or do they have some sort of contacts in ECB/county cricket?

Because as far as I can tell, they are infuriatingly annoying and clueless. Is Richard one of them?

From what I can gather, they're just normal cricket lovers who dedicate their twitter feeds to their thoughts on cricket. Some of which you may agree with, some you may not. That's sport.
