I fell for cricinfo's penchant of calling everyone whose ever picked up the gloves, a wicketkeeper.

I'm yet to read anything negative about the keeping ability of Lee Irvine. From what I can he was classy behind the stumps and dynamite with the bat. Just relatively unproven in the Test arena after only a handful of matches, that's all.

Sir Ian Botham, (102 Matches, 5200 Runs, 383 Wickets)

    Ohnos XI:

    Stewie Dempster 10 Matches 723 Runs @65.72
    -
    -
    Graeme Pollock 23 Matches 2256 Runs @60.97 4 Wickets @ 50.57
    -
    Adam Gilchrist 96 Matches 5570 Runs @ 47.60
    Sir Ian Botham 102 Matches 5200 Runs @ 33.54 383 Wickets @ 28.40
    Sir Richard Hadlee 86 Matches 3124 Runs @ 27.16 431 Wicketes @ 22.29
    Jim Laker 46 Matches 676 Runs @ 14.08 183 Wickets @ 21.24
    -
    Jack Cowie 9 Matches 90 Runs @ 10.00 45 Wickets @ 21.53
    -

    Budget: 130 Matches, 12,361 Runs, -56 Wickets.
    Readjust to : 130 Matches, 9,361 Runs, 44 Wickets
Interesting choice ohnoitsyou because with Gilchrist at 7 and Hadlee in the tail you have the flexibility to play Botham at 6 if you want to, depending on how the selections fall in the next rounds. Handy position to be in.

Holding, Pollock, Bishop, O'Reilly and Worrell makes for a very solid attack kyear. Definitely one of the teams to beat so far.

Thanks Watson. One more targeted player to complete the core of the team. Next pick is so far away though that it's unlikely he will last that long.

Yeah thanks, pretty much exactly why I changed my pick at the last minute, that and i felt the need for another impact player.

Don't see oniy batting Botham at 6 and picking 2 more bowlers seeing as though he has 44 wickets left to play with and an already impressive attack

    Spoiler

(But I must admit you're doing an excellent job as The Oracle Marcuss)

Was replying to Watson's suggestion that you could bat him at 6. Thought that was pretty obvious.

Yeah but i only have one(0) more bowler to pick, not two (1), and him and Gilchrist can easily swap positions, so it is very realistic.
