Watching this live not from straight on, but that looked like Mitch's inswinger action that first time I saw on the vault i dismissed as a lance cairns comedy tribute action,

Just noticed and not sure if discussed already. For the stats guy, All the 5 main Indian bowlers have gone for almost exactly 6 per over, either 6 or 6.1. Happened before?

On changes for India, yes, we need to bring Pujara in for the ODI team.. He has a rock solid record in domestic ODIs and tests.. Stupid to have kept him out so far..

What's the use of having so much money, BCCI mother****ers, if you can't even get cloning perfected and make 5 Virat Kohlis and 5 Dale Steyns?
It says something about the Indian seam bowling stocks that you can't find a decent Indian bowler to clone.

Besides, Steyn would look sooooooo out of place in an Indian uniform.

If Dhoni still doesn't understand the wholesale changes required for this Indian team on seaming away tracks, then he really is a dickhead.

In ODIs, we need Amit Mishra, Gautam Gambhir and Pujara in the side away from sub continent.

In Tests, we need Gambhir, Amit Mishra and Umesh Yadav away from sub continent (along with either Jadeja or Ojha, they are the same).
Might as well have two different teams.

R Sharma/Dhawan in the subcontinent, Gambhir/Pujara overseas.

From a non-Indian perspective, the way guys like Pujara, Rayudu, Unadkat are treated compared to guys like Ishant, Raina, Jadeja and Ashwin is quite shocking really.

I also don't understand the absense of Murali Vijay in ODI's. He's a proven performer outside the sub-continent as seen in South Africa and yet Dhawan continued to get a run, with scores of: (since leaving for SA in all formats) 12, 0, 13, 15, 29, 19, 32, 12, 28, dropped then reinstated, 9.

EDIT: and what was with leaving Binny out? DNB and bowled an over for 8.

You don't think I tried to write that sentence with an Indian bowler in mind? Steyn looks okay in the IPL? Indian uniforms can only be an improvement.

The RRR is up to 9 already and there are still 25 overs to go.

Too much, even for the golden pair.

Don't see any of Ryan Harris in young Henry, but can see the comparisons with Bond or even Dizzy Gillepsie in the way he gathers himself just before delivery.

Looks a prospect. NZ are really developing some promising depth in their seam bowling ATM.
