That was a stunning over from Lakmal, perhaps he could be a test standard bowler one day. Both pacers bowling very well atm, Junaid and the Pakistani quicks will be getting excited seeing this inconsistent bounce though...
Oh thank **** for that - Sri Lanka's DRS disasters don't continue for now. Moron coms said they couldn't hear a noise but there certainly was one and the ball appeared to pass the bat with no daylight in between. Good decision IMO

cricinfo suggested that there didn't seem to be an edge on it
And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW
Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta
Herath getting Ajmal out gives me an incredible amount of joy
My god these tail-enders are mugs
wtf.....2 in 3 deliveries
Good Lord, Matthews going mad with power here. Misbah walking down the crease, hit above the height of the stumps to a ball still rising. What was I saying about DRS disasters?

Disappointed with the collapse today.Still,a lead of almost 200 is huge.
We should wrap this up inside 4 days IMO.
Pakistan should make at 20 more runs so that the lead is 200
Herath with three of the cheapest wickets you'll ever see
Yesssss. Won some money on Younus being top scorer. What an awesome catch by Sangakkara.
Daniel Brettig: "Siddle is the vital glue for a bowling attack that needs experience and consistency to balance the talent of Hazlewood, Starc, James Pattinson and Pat Cummins. Hopefully Lehmann and company will now remember this"
179 it is.
Time for some Ajmal & Junaid fun.
Haven't followed SL cricket too closely recently but are their seamers as awful as their figures suggest? Matthews averages in the 70s and Lakmal over 65. And they opened the bowling
Jeez, Sri Lanka would almost be a minnow if not for Herath. I shudder to think whatll happen when Sanga and Mahela retire. Mathews is an alright bat and I like chandimal but I can't see any other able replacements
actually I wanted to comment on Lakmal but then he ran through our middle order this morning.....
but yes the SL pacers look dire. Even Ishant would be a great catch for them at this point in time
there was always a danger of the lower order collapsing. A good contribution by the keeper could be the difference between a 175 and 250 run lead. A door has been left open for SL. Pak dearly needs to do something about the keeping situation if it wishes to win test matches regularly.
