Sachin Tendulkar to retire

Sorry, but they do. Didn't Gilly say that that drop against Pakistan just finished him right there and then.

And I've just finished reading Langer's bio. He said he knew that was it when Hoggard bowled him first ball at Perth in 06/07. Knowing "that's it" implies losing the required passion.
Riggins was being sarcastic.

Misbah now has the record for being the oldest test centurion. Tendulkar absolutely has to get this record. He didn't get the youngest centurion record, he must have it.

Must be oldest for Pakistan. Doing a quick scan there are 17 players with test tons after their 40th birthday so has to be a national record.

On 63* at the moment with Mumbai needing 30 more runs to win at 210-6. Really hope he guides them all the way in his final Ranji innings. Being broadcast btw, just keep the commentary on mute so you don't have to listen to them go on and on about his accolades.

How good is it that there aren't enough runs left for him to get a ton?
Was going to reply with the ponting gif, but on second thought it's pretty fitting given his obsession with records.

Yeah, remember the times he never said that he would have preferred India winning rather than him getting the century/MoM/MoS. That was just PR policy.

He should play on in domestic cricket after he retires and give back to the game like Ponting did. Selfish in a way itbt.

He should form a Tendulkar's Invitational XI, and play random matches with whichever side he sees fit. Maybe have a crack against old Lashings once in a while. Get some past greats, some new blood. Could be..... what's the word?
