must be bittersweet feelings for CA. all that time and money wasted on holland. wonder which state he'll move to

You'd have to be eyeing off Tasmania if you a fringe state spinner. Doherty is on Australian duty half the time anyway, and even when he isn't I don't think anyone would be too disappointed if he didn't get to play Shield cricket.. probably not even Doherty himself.

The rest of the states all have a spinner they have big hopes for.

Clive Rose has performed pretty much every game he's played for Tassie iirc

He's played a grand total of three FC games for them, and he's taken more than two wickets in only one of them. He'd definitely be the easiest spinner to displace IMO; I reckon they'd drop him for Holland or Fawad in a heartbeat, especially with CA pressuring them to do so which we all know they would.
