Yeah he's ****ing killing it. Seems a decent fella too.
On another note, bats aside, does anyone not buy their gear online any more?
I went to Kingsgrove the other day and had a look at some gear as I am coming back to play this year and my pads and gloves had funnel webs and mould all through them from not being used for two years.
Anyway, saw the gear I wanted and the incomparable Mrs Burgey got it online for me from the kids for Father's Day at a fraction of the retail cost. It's ****ing tops - Mrs Burgey liaised with the traitorous son of mine Burgeinho to ensure the gear she chose was the right stuff.
And best of all, she actually loves cricket as well and is going to be doing the arvo teas. This lady could cook for Australia. Fmd I can't wait to play again.
And yeah I'm waxing lyrical, in no small part because she's away this week and I'm missing her madly.

New gloves and pads arrived for Fathers Day. All good, except the gloves labeled left handed are right handed. Still, when you're getting 100 buck plus gloves for 25 I'll happily return them and get the new ones sent out.
Stinging for the new season and playing a full year with the young bloke. He gave me the lads and wrote on the card "Hope you don't get hit on them". I'm going to run the little* arsehole out.
*taller than me at 14 tbh
