There's also a two bouncer per over rule (unless I am confused) back in the 1980s there was those famous two overs of bouncers by one of the WI pace men that lead to the Aussies bitching and complaining. A huge percentage of their deliveries were chin music. And it was attritional (sp?)
Not to mention the fact that they had the best fast bowling lineup the cricketing world has ever seen. They had the players to do it. No team today has.

Watling now averages over 45 with the bat as wicket keeper. He's had 8 Tests with the gloves and 7 without now. Can't speak highly enough of how well he's adapted; I remember when CW treated him as a Brownlie-like spin chump.

WAG.
