Champions League Twenty20
Seen the squads were announced this morning (not seen this mentioned anywhere else)
Out of 12 players who qualify for 2 teams, 10 of them have chosen to represent their away side (team who don't play in their home country). I find that ridiculous really, money talks - you are contracted permanently to your county/state and you can choose to play for the IPL side. They are probably trying to ensure they get even more money from the IPL next season.
No surprise that the only player who took the decision to play for his home team was Kumar Sangakarra - great bloke IMO. The other player was Perera who had a Big Bash and an IPL side.
