International Vice-Captain
Darren Stevens

Went Murtagh and then realised he had gone much earlier. Wanted a bowler but there are probably about 10-15 all about pretty samey in terms of their usefullness to the team.

Stevens adds real firepower to the middle order and his useful seamers could work well in helpfull conditions. Another who can bat over the 3 formats. Not ideal given the rest of the players in my squad so far but I think he's definite value at this stage. Gonna have a nice 40 over team imo.

Yeah, I considered Stevens but he's probably the last thing my team needs really. Agree with you on seamers too, there's a bunch who are all much of a muchness but I thought Napier was a good shout for me. Genuine wicket taker in Limited Overs and his record in the Championship since 2008 is pretty impressive. More than handy with the bat too which is what swung me towards him rather than a few other options.

Do I open with Bell/Allenby in the LO stuff?

Bell imo. He's the class act. Give him the most time and let him bat the innings. Him and Davies at the top could cause some damage. Allenby has batted a decent amount in the middle order in the 40 over game and Bell hasn't really succeeded in the middle order for England.

Allenby is also more likely to hit boundaries against the old ball with the field back later on as well IMO.

Not sure whether to open with Compton in the OD stuff or open with KP and slot Compton into the middle order.

Carbs is turning himself into a dasher in OD cricket so keep it as it is IMO.
