Great work, I will take David Wainwright as my last player: Good year last year in Div 2 and a solid option in List A.

Think I still have another pick to make. Will go for yet another veteran, Andrew Hall.

When KP returns he will be the banana..

    Adam Lyth and Craig Meschede

    Neither will play, ever. Ahahaha
Every 5 years we have an election and have to decide who are the least obnoxious out of all the men. Then one gets in and they age really quickly. Which is always fun to watch.

OK first round of overseas players is open now.

Remember here in the first round you're picking an overseas player to play the whole season. Second round is an overseas player for the T20. i.e. Mimicking how it works in current county cricket.

Draft in the same order so Pothas leads us off again.

Marcuss and Andyzaltzhair both still one squad member short of domestic players so try and get them in when you can.

Was considering grabbing Meschede. Decent List A figures, tbh.

Was always going to be Dale Steyn

    Marcus Trescothick
    Chris Nash
    Moeen Ali
    Owais Shah
    Neil Mckenzie
    Gary Ballance
    James Foster
    Keith Barker/ James Tredwell
    Dale Steyn
    Chris Tremlett
    James Anderson

    Glen Chapple
    Chris Wood
    Stephen Peters
    Tom Smith
    Andrew Hall

Tredwell or Barker to have the final spot depending on the pitch, although Chapple also has good claim. Will sort list A and tewnty20 side out when I have my final pick.

Saeed Ajmal - From pretty early on I new I wanted my overseas to be a bowler, and as all the decent spinners went in the first few rounds, it was always going to be a spinner. Who else really? Would dominate county cricket with his bag of tricks.

Wanted Ajmal, but knew he would go 1 or 2. Need a spinner as its my only weakness at the moment IMO, unfortunately there is a drop off after Swann/Ajmal.

This leads me to a conundrum, do I pick one of four players I consider to be elite or do I pick a good but not great spinner who is not as good a player....

I am going to take Vernon Philander, I couldn't justify a batsmen with the resources I already have their but feel how well suited to English conditions Philander is means that my lack of a great spinner is not as big of an issue. Dean Cosker has 560 FC wickets @ 36 so if the pitch is a dustbowl he should be something of a threat.

    FC Team:
    Cook
    Robson
    Wells
    Taylor
    Prince
    Kieswetter
    Willey
    Philander
    Hogan
    Rankin/Jordan
    Cosker

Philander is a solid pick, adds batting depth and will destroy on a lot of county decks. Only issue is he's a bit of a FC specialist. Should still dominate the YB40 etc.

Sorry for all the confusion. I'll pick Tim Groenewald for R16
