International Captain
Kapil Dev, 119 vs Australia, Chennai 1986

The follow-on saving effort in the second tied test was a typical Kapil blitzkrieg scattering the billboards around the chepauk stadium. one of the billboards was for a Tamil film to be released in the following month. I met the producer of that picture 20 odd years after his advertisements took a pounding from Kapil's 21 boundaries. He attributed the 3 day run of that film to Kapil's knock, without which he believes the film would have folded after the first show.
