    Faulkner's jump from 40 to almost 50 is very interesting.

    Will be fascinating to see how far up the list Cook ends up at the end of his career (if indeed he does rise up the list).

    The 102 was a great innings, but surprisingly, the 154 with May only got 7.53 points. However, in the very next test at Lord's, Cowdrey scored 152, which earned 12.87 points.

    Just noticed in that scorecard that Rohan Kanhai opened the batting, and was wicket-keeper. Bit odd.

    West Indies were a bit of a shambles in that series. The May/Cowdrey stand really broke them.
