Draft Thread- Randomised test playing nations

Could you not pick Neil Adcock btw, I should have picked a South African myself back in round 8 but was told to wait due to bureaucracy. As you've actually taken longer than I did on that occasion it would be sporting of you to let me have him
Hey hey hey. I don't like the nature of your bolding there!

If people have missed a pick thru the draft and need to make it, do it now. I'll post round 12's order later this morning at work. I don't think I'll be doing actual work today,

Happy with the variety of the bowling attack (And the team bats down to No.9):
Hadlee - RF
Garner - RF
Fazal - RMF
Strang - LBG
Reid - RMF/OB
Macartney - SLA
Hammond - RMF

Would have liked Barry Richards and Majid to take on the new ball bowlers as there would be few sights more entertaining on the first morning of a Test match. But while Majid batted farely regularly at 3 & 4, Hanif only occasionally batted down the order.

No major regrets although I would have liked to have scored England or South Africa in R11 so I could pick Knott or Waite. Benaud would have looked nice at No.8 as well, but Strang brings just enough to the team with his allround skills and great fielding at coverpoint.

Very happy with my team. My top six all average over 50. Some interesting positional averages, too. Clarke averages 64 batting at 5 and Barrington averages 77 from 40 innings batting at 3!! ATG opening pair and a dream bowling attack.

Andy has an allround strong team, BeeGee has a lethal bowling attack, and Howe has awesome batting. I can tell that the voting is going to be close.

Awesome team, IMO.. Batsmen all averaging above 40, two ATGs in Lara and Flower, Goodwin the second best Zim batsman IMO, and the way he went after WArne and McGrath would show that. Gooch and Jayasuriya, nice and contrasting opening pair to lend good balance to the side, Faulkner and Miller add the all round power and LOhmann, Cowie, Akhtar and Laker as the main bowlers add enough variety to the attack as well. Akhtar and Lohmann to take the new cherry followed by Miller and Cowie, and then Goch if required as the 5th seamer. Awesome spin options with Laker, Faulkner and Jayasuriya all providing different varieties. So a XI to cover almost any condition... :)

Hey Watson...

Is it possible for you to finish this off and wrap it up? I'm on holidays and I'm going to be heading into the wilderness for the next week or so. I might get on line, or might not....
