Who is the worst ODI bowler of all time?

Without wanting to look like I'm gloating over English graves, surely Jade Dernbach has this due to his sustained lack of quality over a long period of time?

Quite prepared to hear other suggestions though. Mick Lewis comes to mind.

Pysch Nkala. Daylight second, third and fourth. He may have an economy rate of "only" 5.95 but in the era he played that was far more despicable and Dernbach's rate now, and he backed that up with an average of 70 odd. He somehow managed to get selected 50 times too. He was truly, truly bad.

The great Saj has to be Dernbach's only rival.
Plunkers up/down there too.

In fact, looking at Phelgm's list, it's basically Saj, Plunkers, Terdbach, Sreesanth (who was probly, y'know...) and then Banglas/Zimbas.

Woakes will holding his rosy cheeks up soon too.

Depressing reading from an English point of view.

Gets let off for his brilliant first name. Just think how many kids might've been named after him if he were good.

England have fielded so many gash ODI bowlers over the last decade, Dernbach is the cherry on top of the turdpile.
Not sure if that works, a cherry on top would probably slightly improve a turdpile. He's more like the used condom on top of the turdpile.

Dernbach obviously isn't good enough, and shouldn't be in the side, but I don't think he's that bad. He often bowls at the worst times for bowlers, at the start, in the batting powerplay and at the death. He just needs to stop bowling his slower ball so often, use it as a surprise delivery, not your secondary weapon. Yorker, length, and mix in the slower stuff. He's technically pretty good, the slower ball comes out beautifully, he just doesn't have the bowling intelligence to know when to bowl the right delivery. He's a much better limited overs bowler than Mahmood, Plunkett and Onions though, and certainly not the worst ODi bowler of all-time.
