Monk first for me by a short head

Really difficult after that - by the width of a fag paper Watson followed by Pothas

I kind of like the idea of a surprise final result revealed by NUFAN with a drum roll, rather than watching a slow count - VOTES E-MAILED.

4 votes in, 2 on here and 2 via email.

BTW, if anyone votes for the same person those votes do not count.

I'm joking :)

I love this draft. NUFAN, you're a genius for coming up with this format.

I love the fact it's not just a mad dash for ATGs and you get to look at a lot more 2nd and 3rd tier players and those interesting, obscure diamonds in the rough types.

Awesome.

Actually there is always a mad dash for the ATGs every round, it's just that the system makes getting them difficult.

I would hazard a guess and say that Andy, Monk, and Pothas are 'natural risk takers' in real life.

Actually have an academic interest in risk taking, because I work a lot with adolescents. But I'm ten years past the real risk taking time of life!

Now I know how Kerry Packer felt.

Its actually really fun for me watching the draft take place and seeing whether a really good pick becomes a great pick or not.

The other good think about the Sheep Draft is that it allows from some interesting twists of fate.

For example, Andy's original selection for 12.1 was Ian Botham. But Botham was banned so then Rae Lindwall was drafted instead.

Ironically, the banning of Botham handed Andy an inherently stronger team because Lindwall-Trueman-Tyson looks so impressive when lined up against eachother.

In short, a banning probably caused more votes - which is delighfully counter-intuitive.
