I'm surprised you haven't picked either Marshall or Sobers for all categories.

Seriously? Two W.I's on my list and three in my all world xi. Please don't compare me to Ikki, especially not because I believe that Sobers is a better cricketer than Imran.

Voting is now officially close and all further accumulations are void.

Obviously it's short of renowned middle order batsman due to Bradman.

    But a team of:

    Gavaskar
    Hutton
    Hobbs
    Bradman
    Kallis
    Sobers
    Knott
    Imran
    Marshall
    Warne
    Lillee

    .....not too shabby.

Decisive wins for Hobbs, Bradman, Sobers, Marshall and Warne with Knott holding on at the end.

Great participation most took it seriously.

Why would Hobbs be at 3?

Bradman was the only middle order batsman chosen so the rest had to be improvised a bit.

Of the three openers in the XI, Gavaskar was the only one to play a significant amount of innings not opening, and did score a double century from #4. Besides, Hobbs had the largest opener vote so he should be opening imo :P
