Draft: Best of 1980s and 1990s

Red

The normal awards that everyone else has
If H4G is banned and can't continue then I think it fairest if someone new took over his place (eg. kyear)

Ambrose and Waqar is a pretty good start.
Ha! I didn't realise Coronis was already in the draft! WAC! I thought he was asking to join.

I actually think that considering the shallow pool in this draft, if HG4 is out, we should just leave it at that. Make Ambrose and Waqar off limits tbf, unless I can get either one!

LOL! I was wondering why you were simply handing Coronis both Ambrose and Waqar. :p

Someone might take over his team tbh.

I think it's more fun it we have to pick unusual players. After all, everyone's in the same boat and will have to end up with obscure teams.

I'd be willing to take over H4G's selection if everyone was cool with it.
Welcome justo. The fun part is just going to begin when we all will be forced to take mediocre players from 5 th round onwards. Please jump right in.

I guess we must have changed the concept here. Arent we picking players who did well during 80s and 90s?

First Dravid and Kallis and now Hayden. I must have missed something when I was away....

The period is 1978 to 2002 inclusive. Bagapath wanted to expand the player selection a little bit by adding 4 extra years because exactly 2 decades is a short time.

Hayden peaked during 2001 and 2002 with averages over 60.

You can't pick Gilly mate. He is out since the eligibility criteria is that players must have debuted at least 5 years prior to 31 Dec 2002, and retired at least 5 years after 1 Jan 1978.
