Chris Gayle, Mahela Jayawardene, Nuwan Kulasekera

- Gayle will be there, but costs the big bucks
- Jayawardene is gun, and domestic batting depth is weaker than bowling depth
- Kulasekera is a good T20 bowler, and if the Thunder are targetting SL players, he might be the way to go. Cheaper than Mendis, who would be the other big T20 buy.

Should tighten it up until after the Sydney Test. Then they can have all of January to themselves without competing against the Test series and they can run a round of Shield games after Christmas so we always have guys playing fc to pick from for the Test side.

Their own figures showed no one gave a **** about it until after the Tests. Short and sweet three week tournament works.
