I've had the lecture a thousand times thanks. Seriously theres a massive article on the history of the rules somewhere, and even if only 70% of it is correct you will still learn a massive amount

Wikipedia is generally reliable. History of cricket laws info doesn't need a peer review.

Ironically, wikipedia is perhaps the poster boy for peer review. It's just that you can't trust your own peers in a non-professional setting.

Athlai doesn't lie. And he doesn't do sarcasm either, so you know it's true!

Could you tell me the average age of retirement of good Batsmen?
ICC should establish a new annual prize "Ten Dollar Carl Trophy" for the best Batsman of the year.

I'm afraid, Loko, that all the evidence suggests that we can't tell you anything at all.

WARNING: The above statement has not been peer reviewed.

I am not going to do any calculations on stats guru for you - but would say the mode is 31.

Some of the very good batsman go past 35 but you said good batsman.

Proudly against the bring back Bennett movement since he is injury prone and won't last 5 days.

The current World Cup format should be changed to that of the WCL.
Every team meets twice, on the Home & Away format. Away team has the right to choose batting first or fielding first.

Thank you. So, how Cricket would change if a new law "maiden out" was introduced?
