Well done Zim! I honestly didn't think they'd be able to come back after going 1-0 down. Good to see solid contributions from a number of players contributing to the team's success. I'll be following the series against SL with some interest.

so gun to see that top 7 actually playing for zimbabwe. it may only be Bangladesh but they've shown they can be competitive when they get their best xi on the field.

mushy was the best option as cap imo. shakib struggled a bit as captain not just on field results but he talked his mind and it wasn't always appreciated. tamim isn't really captain material, ashraful's spot in the team is still in question, riyad's spot also in question imo, been very poor lately in tests and struggles to bat anywhere above #8 in that format, in ODIs does ok at #7 but the strike rate is down although it's been better of late. most of the bowlers are really new other than razzak and he doesn't play tests usually plus he's never really been seen as a captain for the national team.

nasir might get the job, still pretty new but not a complete newbie, performed very well in all formats to.

Hope there are no internal issues going on among the players. Mushfiq refused to answer when asked about it. That's bothering me a lot tbh.

A drawn series on home grounds against Bangladesh who aren't used to these sorts of conditions? How does that show that they can be competitive?

His post was only actually applicable to the second and third ODIs given those are the only two games in which that top seven he was talking about actually played, and they won both of those games comfortably (and the series which contained them). Rather speaks to his point about "when they get their best eleven on the field".
